What is ISO 45001?

ISO 45001 is an Occupation Health and Safety Assessment Series for health and safety management systems. It is intended to help an organization to control occupational health and safety risks. The ISO 45001 is the latest revision of OHSAS 18001 and this standard is based on other similar standards ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 High Level Structure and Plan – DO – Check – Act cycle.

It exists to help all kinds of organizations put in place demonstrably sound occupational health and safety performance. It is a widely recognized and popular occupational health and safety management system.

It provides a framework for the effective management of OH&S including all aspects of risk management and legal compliance. It addresses occupational health and safety rather than any specific product safety matters.
